Dan Matsui joined Allen & Caron in January 2007 with seven years of investor relations agency experience and more than 20 years of experience in the financial community and securities markets.

As an account manager in the Irvine, California, office, he works closely with clients' senior management in forming and executing Allen & Caron's investor relations programs to increase awareness and attract and maintain investment interest and support of key sell and buy side analysts, portfolio managers, brokers, shareholders, and media. His extensive experience and dealings with the various members of the investment community provide clients with strong representation in this important area of influence.

He represents a number of clients in a broad range of industries and oversees strategic and tactical activities, including press releases, slide presentations, conference call scripts, annual report letters to shareholders, and other forms of communications; all of which are coordinated with Allen & Caron's experienced investor and media outreach directors to enable management to tell their stories to-and promote broad coverage of their businesses and financial performance by-the investment community and media.

Other responsibilities include peer analysis and monitoring, and gathering and reporting market intelligence, including street perceptions and reactions/responses to specific client issues.

He was a stockbroker with national and regional firms and an associate in the corporate syndicate/underwriting department of a regional broker and investment banker. He has also managed departments responsible for investment marketing and providing services and support for brokers and securities clients of large financial institutions.

He graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in economics and earned a master's degree in economics, with a minor in finance, from California State University Long Beach.
